Zoro vs Mr.1
At the very beginning of One Piece, Zoro challenged and faced Mihawk, the most powerful swordsman in the world. Obviously, our dear lost the fight and was almost killed by his opponent, but that moment was marked as a learning experience and, from there, Zoro began his journey to improve his skills. One of the most striking moments of this journey was his fight against Mr. 1, at the end of the Alabasta arc.
Zoro has some more impressive feats, but this is an important milestone for his story and his development, since this is where he starts to be able to cut the metal. Nami vs Ms. Doublefinger
In One Piece we have the powerful Akuma no Mi and their users who inherit their abilities, and we also know the warriors who are very powerful even without needing these Devil Fruits. Zoro and Sanji are great examples of this, but Nami ends up being left behind because she is not as strong as the two, which ends up leaving her out of some of the best fights in One Piece. This is the famous ability that Cook uses to ignite his kicks. Many One Piece fans claim that this was Sanji's best battle, as he managed to defeat his opponent, who had the ability to transform into a wolf.
Yamato vs Kaido
The Wano Arc is the biggest in the entire One Piece franchise and Yamato (the son of Emperor Kaido) is of great importance for helping the Straw Hat Gang fight his father, one of the Yonkou. Proof that Yamato is one of Luffy's allies is that when the stretching pirate is knocked unconscious after one of Kaido's attacks, Yamato goes into direct combat against Kaido, intent on protecting his friend.
Yamato, just like Kaido, is also an Akuma no Mi (Inu Inu no Mi) user and manages to transform into a mythological fox, in order to face the giant dragon that the Yonkou transforms into. This battle, besides being one of the best fights in One Piece, is also very important for the overall development of the story, as it helps to build a little more of the father and son relationship between the two characters.
Luffy vs Lucci
Luffy's battle against Lucci is one of the most memorable moments of the Enies Lobby Arc, which is already one of the highlights of the entire franchise. This was the final confrontation of the saga, where we see Luffy using all his power to achieve victory, to the point of reaching physical exhaustion after the fight and not being able to move.
This became one of One Piece's best fights because it demonstrated to the audience how Gear 2 and 3 could be extremely powerful if raised to their full power. We also saw all the abilities of the leopard villain, which even though they were very flashy (like superhuman speed and strength), ended up being defeated by our straw hat.
Kid and Law vs Big Mom
As the Wano Arc was the biggest in the franchise, it served up countless incredible confrontations and one of them was the fight between Kid and Law against the great villain, Big Mom. Big Mom made Kid and Law work as a team and use everything they had to beat one of the Yokou.

Luffy vs Usopp

Knowing he's not as strong as Luffy, Usopp uses his wits to create an entire battlefield that favors him, filled with strategic points that would allow him to shoot safely and with a few traps. Unfortunately for fans, this is a fight that anyone who loses would make the audience very sad.
The protagonist ends up with the victory... We don't know if we can call this one of the best battles in One Piece, but it is certainly one of the most striking and unforgettable in the franchise.
Luffy vs Kaido
Kaido has been imposing since he first appeared, making fans understand that when a final battle between him and Luffy took place, it would be one of the most epic clashes of all! Well, it turns out that this battle exceeded expectations and, for sure, is the first among the best fights of One Piece.
Kaido is able to transform into a giant dragon, but Luffy also possesses his abilities and managed to reach Gear 5 form (the character's most powerful and recent transformation). This was recently seen in the anime, so it's the most current fight on this list. Gear 5 was called by the World Government "the world's most ridiculous power" and represents freedom, which was very well portrayed by the animators, bringing a cartoonish look to the anime and giving Luffy funny and unique scenes so far.
